MY SECRET AFFAIR WITH MAMA BOLAJI. Every morning i will wake up and look forward to greeting her, she lived in our Neighborhood, light complexioned and always with a ready smile.  When she moved into the neighborhood, i assisted them that day in moving their things and she gave me some sweets that day and she gave me the warmest smile and a pat on my back with these words "thank you my dear".   Yam as we all know, except in the US where they sometimes call sweet potato yam is a highly fibrous vegetable with a great source of potassium,magnassium and antioxidants. It can be prepared in several ways which includes roasting, boiling, pounding, frying etc. It can be taken with egg source, peanut butter, vegetable oil,palm oil etc when boiled, roasted or fried soup when pounded, the list goes on. Benue yam??  What is so spectacular about this Benue yam that made it gain the status as being the best yam in Nigeria?
